DIGIMUSE ENTER aims to expand and deepen the results achieved in the small scale DIGIMUSE, with particular focus on mapping the digital resources adopted by small cultural organizations. In this context, the consortium focuses on analyzing the training needs of cultural operators, in relation to the digital skills required to improve inclusion and accessibility to cultural offerings.
The planned activities aim to strengthen the digital skills of operators by promoting the adoption of low-cost digital solutions and preparing the ground for the development of targeted training. In this phase, the consortium will conduct a mapping of digital resources, collecting best practices across Europe and identifying the training needs of cultural operators.
The collection of best practices focuses on digital initiatives that promote the inclusion of disadvantaged groups and improve cultural accessibility, adopted in museums, libraries, archives, and other cultural institutions across Europe.
Each consortium partner identifies and analyzes these best practices, using an analytical matrix to describe the available solutions, the required resources, start-up costs, and low-cost feasibility.
The labs, in which the available solutions, required resources, start-up costs, and low-cost feasibility are described, plays a crucial role in identifying gaps in digital skills and challenges related to the adoption of the mapped digital solutions.
The labs, organized by the consortium's cultural organizations, provide an opportunity for operators to share their training needs and preferences.
The information gathered is used to develop a DigComp Matrix, which links the identified training needs to the areas and learning outcomes of the European Digital Competence Framework.
